Movie Previews

2012 November 14th


Never before has a single date troubled the minds of so many cultures, religious peoples, scientists and governments. 2012 is about the day the world comes to an end, and about the story of the survivors (starring John Cusack) who struggle to make it out of the cataclysmic event. 2012 holds much potential for both a thrilling and chilling movie about the end of our world.



The Twilight Saga: New Moon November 20th

After an unfortunate mishap at Bella Swan’s (Kristen Stewart) eighteenth birthday Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) leaves to protect her from the dangers of his world. As Bella drifts through the days she discovers that Edward’s image comes to her when she puts herself in jeopardy. When an old enemy finally puts her in real danger, Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) rescues her. With more of the passion, action, and suspense than the former movie, “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” is going to be an exceptional follow-up to the box office hit.



Ninja Assassin November 25th

Ninja Assassin is, by theory, a movie based on the concepts of the video game Ninja Gaiden. The movie is about a boy, Raizo, who is taken at the age of seven and trained to become a master assassin of a thought-to-be myth clan called the Ozunu Clan After the execution of his most cherished friend though, Raizo vanishes until the right time comes to take down the Ozunu Clan.



Avatar December 18th

Humans encroach on the moon Pandora where corporate interests are mining an ore worth billions of dollars per kilogram. Jake Sully is recruited to infiltrate the native culture, the Na’vi, by using a suit that looks like the natives yet keeps the human thoughts of the user called an “avatar”. He is saved by a female native Neytiri, as his relationship grows with Neytiri he leads an epic conflict that can determine the fate of an entire world.



Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel December 25th

The chipmunks are back to cause havoc in David Seville’s world and sing in three-part harmony, but things take a twist when their female counter-parts are introduced, the chipettes.



Sherlock Holmes December 25th

Sherlock Holmes makes his comeback with Robert Downy Jr. playing the role of Holmes; with his trusty partner Watson (Jude Law) this movie will portray Holmes fighting skills equal in proportion to his legendary intellect. Holmes will battle a new enemy to unravel a plot to destroy the country.
