The Social Studies Department

In a recent poll Rangeview has shown that they like the social studies department the best. The social studies department teachers have a lot of fun and the students see that through them. They love their jobs and will never get bored of them because teaching is a learning experience and everyday a student brings a different view to history. With 13 teachers with different classes you can get a plethora of teachers and teaching methods which is a plus when it comes to trying to get history into a teenagers brain and memory.


The students say they like male teachers better maybe that’s why they like the social studies department the best because there is almost an equal number of males and females so that they have a different kind of teaching method and they would be comfortable with at least one teacher in their high school career and that would be because of the funny, laidback, and easy-going atmosphere when you walk into the social studies hall.

“The social studies teachers are so much fun because they are so relatable and they love what they do.” Sophomore Alicia Laws said. The social studies department is very content in what they teach you can see how it some across in their classes.

They make the classes fun so that students at Rangeview can get the most out of a “dry” subject. The social studies department knows that no matter how much fun they put into the class there still is the factor of learning factor of the whole subject. Mr. Small said “We help each other to help you guys as students.”
